Pre-Installation Requirements
  • Maintain 65°F (18°C) minimum in the work area 48 hours before, during and after installation.
  • Use the recommended notched trowel for adhesive
  • For wet-set installations, ensure the adhesive is moist to the touch before laying flooring.
  • Apply the correct adhesive amount based on job
  • Place the material into the adhesive
  • Roll with a 100 lb. roller in both
  • Ensure lifting edges or curled ends are pressed down during
  • Position tiles into the adhesive and roll within 15 minutes using a 100 lb. roller in both directions.
  • Avoid indentations by working off the flooring or using knee
  • Ensure at least 80% adhesive transfer to the floor

 After troweling, roll the adhesive with a short nap roller (lightly coated with adhesive) to flatten ridges and prevent them from showing through the finished floor.
